ADMISSION INTO UNDERGRADUATE AND POST-GRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES FOR 2014/2015 ACADEMIC SESSION
The general public is hereby informed that list of successful candidates admitted into the Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes in the University is now out and can be accessed from the University Portal. Candidates are advised to pay Two Thousand, One Hundred Naira only into University of Abuja Admissions Notification’s Account, at any Zenith Bank Plc nationwide, obtain a PIN numbers from the Bank and visit the University Web-portal http://www.unibujaug.mycportal.com to print Admission Notification for the 2014/2015 and other Screening documents and bring them for University Screening exercise. New entrants and returning students resumes on 23rd November, 2014 and Registration commences on 24th November, 2014 respectively.
ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:
Notice: Candidates should carefully read these instructions and follow ALL necessary steps, as “mistake(s)” may lead to disqualification.
STEP 1: Candidates are advised to pay Two Thousand, One Hundred Naira only (N2,100) for screening exercise, checking of admission results and printing of online Admission Notification. The sum of Two Thousand, One Hundred Naira only (N2,100) should be paid into the University of Abuja’s Sub-Account at any ZENITH BANK PLC only nationwide after payment, PIN shall be issued.
STEP 2: Sequel to the payment of the sum of Two Thousand, One Hundred Naira only (N2,100) and a PIN numbers being issued, Candidates are expected to visit http://www.unibujaug.mycportal.com and login to printing Admission Notification and other Screening documents.
STEP 3: Click on Admission module, Select Admission Notification. Enter Jamb Registration number and PIN issued by Zenith Bank Plc. Click on PRINT: Admission Notification, Resumption Date Information, Online Registration Guidelines for 2014/2015 Academic Session, Public Announcement, Bursary Payment/Registration Procedures, Academic Planning Screening Certificate, College/ Faculty Screening Certificate, Hostel Accommodation Information and University Web-Portal User’s Application Form from the links provided on the web page.
STEP 4: Candidates can therefore, move into various College/Faculty of their choice of course of study for credentials verification, bring along JAMB Result Slip, Ordinary Level (SSCE, GCE, Grade II e.tc.) certificate/statement of result, certificate of Birth/Declaration of Age, Certificate of Local Government Indigene, Letter of Undertaking from parent/Guardian that you will be of good behavior while in the University, Twelve (12) passport-size photographs. After successful screening by the FACULTY SCREENING OFFICER, obtain a MATRICULATION NUMBER and other admission
STEP 5: Candidates should pay school fees with his/her MATRICULATION NUMBER at any of these Banks nationwide according to the College/Faculty group below:

STEP 6: After successful payment, change the initial password to a new and unique password known only to you.
STEP 7: Click on My Profile Tab, Update Personal Detail Form by clicking on Edit button. Supply all details about you. Ensure that the Email address and phone number supplied are valid, functional and personal for further correspondence and short messages. Students should review their Completed Personal Detail Form before submission.
Students must upload his/her head shot photograph with two ears appearing and scan signature in a JPEG image format and submit. The size of such images must not exceed 50kb. The photograph must be white background of 5cm5cm without glasses, cap or headgear.
Click on “UPDATE” to effect all the changes/information entered on your PERSON DETAIL Form and print a copy.
STEP 8: Visit the University Portal to apply for Hostel Accommodation.
STEP 9: Click on Course Registration to register for your Courses.
STEP 10: Collect Original Offer of Provisional Admission Letter from the College/Faculty. Then, Open Five (5) files, make Five (5) photocopies of listed below documents and put each of them into files. The documents are Online Personal Detail Form, Original Offer of Provisional Admission Letter, Admission Notification, Academic Planning Screening Certificate, College/ Faculty Screening Certificate, Online School fees Receipt, Hostel Accommodation Online Receipt, JAMB Result Slip, Ordinary Level (SSCE, GCE, Grade II e.tc.) Certificate/statement of result, Certificate of Birth/Declaration of Age, Certificate of Local Government Indigene, Letter of Undertaking from parent/Guardian that you will be of good behavior while in the University, and University Web-Portal User’s Application Form. Submit those files to Academic Planning Unit, Student Affairs Office, College/Faculty, Department, and Bursary for your records.
STEP 11: Should you have difficulties or complaint, click HOME, and click feedback link to send such complaint or enquiries. Our Support Team will urgently attend to your complain accordingly.
STEP 12: Closing Date: Registration should be duly completed and processed not later than Three weeks from the date of commencement (i.e. 24th November – 21December, 2014). The portal shall be blocked on 21stDecember, 2014 at 12.00am.
(a) The deadline for the Registration may not be extended. Any student whose data are not submitted within the stipulated time may not be considered to sit for Examinations.
(b) Misrepresentation and falsification of documents is a serious offence. Students are therefore, strictly advised to submit genuine data only.
(c) Students are strongly warned to adhere to the procedures and instructions stipulated above for successful Registration.
